Angie is a 1994 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and a Master's degree in Audiology. She is part of the original staff of East Alabama ENT, beginning in 1994.

She is board-certified in Audiology by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She resides in Opelika.
